The Challenge: each team of students (2-3) gets placed on a team with 1 Chef mentor. The teams then have 1 ½ hours to game-plan an entrée that showcases Idaho Potatoes as the center of the plate item. This entrée will also then be “paired” with an Idaho Wine. On the day of event, student teams go to the Chef’s location to prep the menu item, then finish and serve at the Boise Hotel and Convention Center.
Judging will be by ballots issued at entry to the event.
